I've used an online tax program for years, but this year things got overwhelmingly complicated. Recent marriage, home purchase, part year state residency (NYC and CT), & home efficiency deductions were among the challenges that made doing the taxes ourselves beyond our capabilities. Lee and Taury began by carefully reviewing all of our paperwork with us to make sure they understood everything. Less than one week later tax returns were done and they presented us with all of the tax material ready to be submitted. They patiently went over the returns and their paperwork, explaining how all of the resulting numbers were reached.
